Russ Whitney reminds me of an old time circuit preacher. I saw a lot of them growing up in Virginia. Sincere, with lots of down home charm, bubbling in the power of the word, and the word is real estate. As a child, such displays made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, but I was held captive by the strong hand of my parents. As an adult, I run. Russ Whitney seems a man too good to be true. I leave you to draw the conclusions.
Russ Whitney has two purposes in life. To sell you his $35.00 book on real estate and to get you into one of his three day long courses. I highlight three day long, because it seems like an eternity. You’ll have to depart with some serious change to have this weekend getaway. Cost for all your time for all this fun will most likely exceed $3,000.
I have 2 friends that use real estate to make money. It is not easy. They rehab two – three houses a year. Costs, materials, labor issues, renters and so forth are time consuming and require things of them that most people don’t or won’t endure.
My advice if you want to learn about real estate is to read everything in your public library, attend an adult or community continuing education class, talk to local real estate agents and people pursing this course, and study for and take your realtor’s license. Gain the knowledge and credibility you will need to be successful.
You know what you need to do. You may need a little assistance figuring out how to make your dream a reality. That’s where I come in, if you desire. You can have the education, sequential business steps, and ongoing support to sustain and grow your business.
I had the good fortune to find the right mentor. Perhaps, you’ll consider what I do to make a living. I’ve learned from someone who without ego or selfishness, taught me completely and taught me well. Call me; I’ll pass that along to you.
